Damjan

Damjan originally from Nova Gorica, Slovenia. His artistic language describes man`s

constant fight with his own nature.

 

Though the organic forms of Warriors of Light or

the other sculptures in different materials – marble, wood, clay or bronze he is trying

to express his inner feelings, observations, frustrations, ideas and beliefs into

contemporary art language. With the knowledge of traditional carving methods,

mixed with today`s modern carving techniques, his sculptures assume the power to

create within the viewer the desire to touch the sculpture.

 

In the last few years he

has created many sculptures with increasing public and critical success.
